At fictional Princeton Plainsboro Teaching Hospital in New Jersey, prickly genius Dr. Gregory House tackles health mysteries as would a medical Sherlock Holmes, all the while playing mind games with hospital administrator Dr. Lisa Cuddy and with his best friend, oncologist James Wilson. House' works with a team of young diagnosticians -- Drs. Eric Foreman, Allison Cameron, Robert Chase, Chris Taub, and a female physician he has dubbed ``Thirteen.''
