Kevin Klein

Kevin Klein (born December 13, 1984 in Kitchener, Ontario) is a professional ice hockey defenceman who currently plays for the Nashville Predators of the NHL. Klein married long-time fiance in Toronto, on December 14, 2008. Klein was drafted by the Predators in the 2nd round, 37th overall, in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. He played 4 years of junior hockey in the Ontario Hockey League; three with the Toronto St. Michael's Majors, and one with the Guelph Storm. Following junior hockey, he has played the majority of two seasons with the Admirals. He played a total 64 games with the Predators in the 2008–09 season. January 26, 2007 - Scored first NHL goal vs Chicago. On July 16, 2008, Klein signed a two-year, $1.3 million contract. October 13, 2008, Klein scored his second career goal, and first since Jan. 26, 2007, against Chicago. Both goals came at the United Center. December 08, 2008, Klein scored his first goal, since game No. 3 of the season on Oct. 13 at Chicago, vs St. Louis. On December 09,2008, Klein notched a career-high four penalty minutes vs. Vancouver. Scored his first career power-play goal Dec. 26 vs. Detroit.
